Our approach bridges research, spatial design, and aesthetic sensibility, aiming to bring to life environments that are recognizable, highly functional, and distinctive. We believe in designing spaces meant to endure, where aesthetics and profound meaning coexist seamlessly, always in dialogue with their surrounding context and the vision that sparked them.
While we have been active in the design sector since 2016, Studio Sospeso was officially founded in 2021, during a moment of collective suspension. This slowed-down perception of time allowed us to pause, observe, and envision a collaborative studio practice, one capable of seamlessly merging interior design with art direction.
The name Sospeso (Suspended) stems from our desire to avoid rigid definitions. To us, "suspension" represents an open realm of research and infinite possibility. It is a continuous, multidisciplinary dialogue fueled by visions, music, imagery, and inspirations, all intuitively translated into our design sensibility.
Today, we are based in Puglia.
