Interior Design project

There is a thread that runs through this Turin apartment in the heart of San Salvario, it is more than just a sequence of rooms; it is a narrative composed of transitions and nuances. From the very entrance, the home declares its dual nature: the owner’s psychology practice introduces a space of listening and mindfulness, where the private realm opens, for a moment, to the outside world.
The corridor that follows becomes a "filter zone", separating and connecting, protecting intimacy without ever fully closing it off.

The green boiserie and the deconstructed geometric wallpaper act as an invitation to wander, like a path that doesn't immediately reveal its destination. Halfway through, an intermediate space discreetly appears: the music area, where the terracotta ceiling "lowers its voice" to create a pause. A small, suspended theater where sound inhabits the space even before the furniture does, preparing the way for the domestic heart of the home.

The kitchen reveals itself as a visual structure: faceted tiles break the plane of the wall, transforming it into an almost rhythmic surface, while the wood and soft green of the counter restore a tactile calm, meant to be experienced slowly.

In the living room, the mustard-colored bookcase climbs upward, becoming architecture. The color extends to the ceiling and accompanies, with an emotional rather than logical coherence, the stairs leading to the sleeping quarters. Here, too, the division is narrative rather than stark: every threshold is a change in tone, never an interruption.

Finally, the bedroom is the gentle synthesis of this journey: a bed that floats between abstract geometries and custom volumes, while the wooden flooring gathers and reunites every variation into a single, intimate harmony.

A project guided by the idea of the home as a layered story, told through surfaces, functions, and silences.
