Supper Segreta is a format conceived by Effe Studio, an intimate experience that brings strangers together around a shared table to discover exceptional food in fascinating locations.
Our secret location for this edition was the stunning Castello Imperiali in Francavilla Fontana! Every element of this event paid homage to the Madonna della Fontana, a project that beautifully blended food, design, a historic setting, and meaningful connections.
When envisioning the setup for this Secret Supper, our starting point was precisely the image of the Madonna della Fontana, the city's patron saint, celebrated on September 14th.
We evoked religious imagery through carefully curated elements within the design concept. Along the center of the table, ceramic terrariums were adorned with small statues of the Madonna, accompanied by a dense sequence of candles. The sheer fabrics and the glassware chosen for the mise en place also echoed the sacred icon, as did the expansive veils used for the spatial installation.
All of this allowed us to recreate a warm, intimate, and highly evocative atmosphere. The evening reached its climax the moment the traditional luminarie (festive illuminations) were turned on, a defining hallmark of the celebrations honoring the Madonna.
