Located just a stone's throw from the center of Riccione, this project involves the renovation of a 70-square-meter apartment whose rooms overlook a nearby lake.

The brief called for a spatial reconfiguration that would inject a sense of liveliness into the home, a playful touch characteristic of someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously, perfectly reflecting our client, a comic book collector.

Natural light streams in through a system of skylights and expansive panoramic windows.

Contrasting wall colors serve as a highly functional visual zoning strategy, clearly defining the use of the spaces; this dynamic color blocking naturally delineates the different environments. Vibrant shades of red, orange, and green are beautifully balanced by a more minimalist aesthetic, achieved through bespoke custom joinery.

The integration of custom-designed furniture gave rise to a fresh layout, perfectly tailored to the unique architectural constraints of a mansard roof. Ultimately, this project was completed within a tight timeframe and a modest budget, thoughtfully punctuated here and there by curated vintage pieces.
