VEA is the designer radiator created for Sciroccoh and winner of the Design Warm Contest 2025.
The concept behind VEA originates from a simple, timeless gesture: the fold. Drawing inspiration from origami, pleated textiles, Japanese lanterns, hand fans, and even the art of folding a napkin, its form emerges through the rhythmic repetition of a single movement. The result is an object that transforms the lightness and elegance of paper into a solid, sculptural, and highly functional presence.
Its folded surface generates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, solids and voids, constantly changing according to the surrounding environment, the quality of light, and the observer’s point of view. Beyond its aesthetic value, each fold serves a practical function, acting as a towel holder and warmer. This dual purpose makes VEA particularly suited to hospitality environments, where performance and visual identity coexist seamlessly.
Available in two dimensions, VEA adapts effortlessly to a variety of settings, from spacious and open interiors to more compact and intimate spaces. The collection is offered in a range of finishes, including a refined white version that enhances its sculptural character while allowing it to integrate naturally into different architectural contexts.
VEA combines design with advanced technology. Available in both electric and hydraulic versions, it features intuitive smart controls that ensure efficient and user-friendly operation. Manufactured from high thermal conductivity aluminum, it guarantees rapid and even heat distribution while optimizing energy consumption.
